- Introduction to the system
The system is controlled by closed-loop servo control, and the target position of the monitored edge is set in advance (corrective zero). When the machine is running, the edge detector monitors the lateral position change of the controlled edge of the strip and converts it into an electrical signal which is output to the control amplifier. The controller compares the signal with the offset zero signal and outputs a corresponding offset correction signal to the servo valve if there is any deviation. The servo valve converts the signal into high power hydraulic energy, which drives the hydraulic cylinder to move the uncoiler accordingly, until the strip controlled edge returns to the target position.
