Winder edge guiding system (armless mechanism)
- Introduction to the system
The system monitors one side of the inlet belt via photoelectric sensors and converts the position change into an electrical signal output to the controller amplifier. The controller compares this signal with the pre-set corrective zero signal, if there is a deviation then output a corresponding deviation correction signal to the servo valve, the servo valve will convert the signal into high power hydraulic energy, drive the hydraulic cylinder to push the coiler to move, thus driving the strip reverse movement, using the strip edge to re-align the photoelectric sensor zero position. This back-and-forth tracking results in a coil with neatly aligned ends. This mechanism allows the photoelectric sensor to be positioned separately and far away from the winder.
